Ange­lika Vagedes was born in Austria in 1966. While studying applied cultural sciences with a focus on commu­ni­ca­tions and busi­ness admin­is­tra­tion, she gained edito­rial expe­ri­ence at Austrian Broad­casting (ORF) and North German Broad­casting (NDR). In addi­tion, she got acquainted with TV marketing at the German pay-TV channel Premiere. In 1990, she discov­ered her love for live commu­ni­ca­tion and entered the agency world.

From 2000 to 2009, she held a senior manage­ment func­tion at Michael Vagedes GmbH.


After completing a commer­cial appren­tice­ship, Michael Vagedes, who was born in 1955, joined the sales and marketing depart­ment of Daimler Benz AG in Stuttgart. A few years later, he moved to Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH, where he was finally respon­sible for the own events of the trade fair company. Since he founded his own agency in the late 1980s, he advises compa­nies and insti­tu­tions in the fields of economics, poli­tics, media and sciences in all ques­tions of live commu­ni­ca­tion.

Michael Vagedes is Pres­i­dent of the Marketing Club Hamburg, Member of the Board of the German Marketing Asso­ci­a­tion, publi­cist and lecturer.


Chris­tiane Schmid, who was born in 1967, gained profes­sional expe­ri­ence in the German and inter­na­tional hotel busi­ness before she took up her studies in busi­ness admin­is­tra­tion.

After working for the German market researcher Media Control, she decided to change to the commu­ni­ca­tion industry and joined Michael Vagedes GmbH in 1997. There she was a member of the senior manage­ment from 2000 to 2009.
