Angelika Vagedes was born in Austria in 1966. While studying applied cultural sciences with a focus on communications and business administration, she gained editorial experience at Austrian Broadcasting (ORF) and North German Broadcasting (NDR). In addition, she got acquainted with TV marketing at the German pay-TV channel Premiere. In 1990, she discovered her love for live communication and entered the agency world.
From 2000 to 2009, she held a senior management function at Michael Vagedes GmbH.
After completing a commercial apprenticeship, Michael Vagedes, who was born in 1955, joined the sales and marketing department of Daimler Benz AG in Stuttgart. A few years later, he moved to Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH, where he was finally responsible for the own events of the trade fair company. Since he founded his own agency in the late 1980s, he advises companies and institutions in the fields of economics, politics, media and sciences in all questions of live communication.
Michael Vagedes is President of the Marketing Club Hamburg, Member of the Board of the German Marketing Association, publicist and lecturer.
Christiane Schmid, who was born in 1967, gained professional experience in the German and international hotel business before she took up her studies in business administration.
After working for the German market researcher Media Control, she decided to change to the communication industry and joined Michael Vagedes GmbH in 1997. There she was a member of the senior management from 2000 to 2009.
